When I went on safari to Samburu, just
north of Mt. Kenya, we were led out on
a camel ride through the countryside.
Samburu is full of animals, especially
elephants.
The Samburu people live much like
they did hundreds of years ago, except
now they tend to rely a bit more on the
income they generate from selling
curios to tourists.
They also love their camels, their
cattle and their goats. Joseph has
retained these principle elements in
this collage painting.
This African painting is also available
in limited edition signed prints.
