Paul Schmidt paints the soul of African life. He is a wildlife artist, born in the Border Region of the
Eastern Cape. His painting portray the animals of the African continent in fine detail and reflect
the inner drama that is Africa, as well as the vastness of the bush. Interjected in his work, is the
African, who lives out the dynamic tension of prey/predator. On his canvas, using multi-layer
