If you are currently sending out just one thank you letter when you receive a gift, there is a lot more you can do. Test more generous gifts
to achieve exponential growth. For follow up, send your thank you letter, then follow up after a few days with a call, then offer the donor the
opportunity to visit the site where their gift is being used, or the opportunity to support a similar project. By doing so, you will be able to
uncover their motivation for giving, and you may be able to point them to other opportunities, or inform them of how much more they could
be giving. Uncovering the "why" behind their giving is crucial.
