Strategic Endorsements (a.k.a. JVs)
An insurance broker may ask the client if they have an alarm system since this reduces their premium by 15% - if the customer showed
interest he could then recommend a quality company that has an effective system at a reasonable price.

Other Ideas

1.
Break down every single operation in your business into a process. As a process, you can measure it, teach it, quantify it, evaluate it and
improve it. As each person in their department does this, it helps them get a better sense of what they are doing. With better knowledge
comes better control. With more control comes increased profits.

2. Reward your staff well for bringing new ideas or systems into the business. Make it worth their while so that they're even tempted to think
about how to grow the business when they're
not at work.

3. Institute multiple referral systems. Don't stop with just one. Even try a competition among current clients where you give a grand prize for
the most referrals (and a runner-up prize to
every other person who gave a referral).
