1. Understand the lifetime value of a client -- how much money will the average client bring you over the course of their buying relationship with
you? If you get $50/week from a client, and they stay with you 3 years, then you make $7,800 per client. Treat them like royalty and ask for
referrals.

2. Don't hang simple brochures on doorknobs but hang a sales letter with a carefully crafted headline, USP and no-risk offer. Track the results.
If it works, then hire someone to hang these for you.

3. Run an ad in the local paper. Remember your lifetime value of $7,800 (for example) per client. What can you give away in the beginning to
"hook" your prospect?

4. Realize that the women of the home usually make the decision to hire a house cleaner. Joint venture with beauty salons and give them a
percent of the sale, or the entire first month's fee for everyone they refer to you. They make $200 (using the example of $50/week times 4
weeks) and you make $7,600. It seems fair to me!
